Valentine's Weekend!

So Valentine's Day exploded all over our house it seems.  Flowers, cards and love galore!  We didn't do much and had a very simple Valentine's weekend.  It was very low-key and relaxed.  Just what we wanted!

Nolan stayed with a friend on Saturday night so we had a little pre-Valentine's Day evening together.  It was glorious!  We had a yummy dinner of broccoli cheese soup and homemade bread.  I will post the recipe this week.  It tasted JUST LIKE Panera Bread's broccoli cheese soup!  Yum!  And it's even better the next day!  Then we watched a movie together and went to bed early.  We watched "The Martian" and really enjoyed it.   It was nice just to relax together, light a fire and have a nice evening together.

Sunday was very simple too.  We lit a fire and watched romantic comedies all day.  We stayed in our jammies all day too!  Perfection! :)  We had a yummy dinner of Manicotti and watched Downton Abbey before bed.  It was wonderful too!  SO relaxed which after a busy week is what we needed!

So that was our Valentine's weekend!  Very simple and easy-going.  Relaxed and low-key.  It was just what we needed!  I couldn't have asked for anything better! :)

I hope you and your loved ones had a beautiful, special and loved-filled Valentine's Day!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the view.

Until Next Time....
