What's up Wednesday!

Today is Wednesday, so that begs the question....What is Up!?  Let's Go!

I got my Dissertation topic approved!  I am pursuing my PhD in Education and this was a big hurdle and obstacle to get through/over in order to make it the next phase of my writing and research.  So hearing the news yesterday that it was finally approved made me so happy I MAY have done a little dance!  It's been 12 full months of working on this Topic Approval so to finally have it approved makes me on happy gal!  Now onto the rest of my hard work that's in front of me.

I am lamenting Spring break being over!  Like seriously LAMENTING it!  I want it back!  I want the nice weather back too!!  I loved sitting in my chair working, having the windows and door open.  I loved hearing our wind chimes play their happy little tune while I worked from home!  I want that back!  The countdown to summer is ON! :)

It's cold and rainy again today.  I don't like cold and rainy.  I like the sun and warmth.  I'm dressed in my sweaters again and turned on the fireplace heater last night.  That's the first time in a long time I've had the supplemental heat running!  Makes me long for last weeks warmth and sun!  But I think some of that is coming back into the forecast for later this week.  Fingers crossed!  This weather just makes me want to nap! :)

I got flowers or a rose from my hubby last night.  It was so pretty!  He brought it to congratulate me on my topic getting approved.  Now it sits on our fireplace where I can see it when I work.  I love it and him!  :)

My eating and exercise plan is going good.  My sister, Alesha and I are doing it together and we couldn't be happier with it!  Already seeing and feeling the changes and that makes me elated!  I love having a buddy to do it with, too.  We text and call each other for encouragement throughout the week.  It's great that we're together on this and doing good with it!  Prayers that this goodness continues! :)

Nolan had his Tae Kwon Do tournament on Saturday in Omaha/Bellevue.  He did so good! He got 3rd place in his Forms competition.  We are so proud of him for doing the tournament and stepping out in faith to go to it.  It was a big competition and overwhelming I'm sure.  But he took it in stride and did a great job!  Again, we are so proud of him! :)

We spent the warm day on Sunday cleaning up our yard of leaves and debris.  The grass is starting to get green and flowers/plants are starting to bloom!  The yard looks good!  I know this rain is good for the grass and all of the plants, trees and flowers.  So I won't lament it too much. :)

Well, that's all I have today.  Not too much is going on, but just enough.  I should do this on the weekend when there's lots going on! :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the view!

Until Next Time....
