Someone should have told me....

I'm frustrated.  I came to teach only to realize that I had no students!  Room is dark and no one is there.  I walked out to the hall and one of my students HAPPENED to be out there getting a drink.  He shared that there was a late start today and our class wouldn't meet for another like 25 minutes!  What!?  Someone should have told me.  That's the bad part about being adjust and not full time.  The chain of information tends to not make it to you.  SO, here I sit, checking email, clicking around Facebook, starving because I had no time to eat, killing time.  Rather wasting time.  I could have stayed home longer.  I could have eaten lunch!  I could have done something.....anything.  So here I sit.  Just sitting in a half-dark room wishing I was home.....or at the very least at Subway eating my lunch.  This now screws up my schedule for the rest of the afternoon.  I'll be lucky if I have time to eat before going to my next set of classes.  Someone should have told me.  That's all I ask.  Is it really too much?  I don't think so.  I really don't think so.  Just my view.

On a happier, more positive note:  Thankful Thursday is here.  I am thankful for the job that I have which doesn't tell me when classes are delayed.  I'm thankful for the work that I do and the flexibility it does afford me.  I'm thankful that I can work.  That's what I'm thankful for today.

Still....someone should have told me.  Just saying. :)  Still....Make it a good one!

Until Next Time....
